Devastating bush fires in recent years have resulted in changes to the building code in Australia.

To ensure its roof mounted ventilation fans comply with AS3959-2009 (Construction of buildings in bush fire prone areas), Aerovent has developed a range of bush fire compliant fan plinths that ensure no burning embers can enter the structure and start a fire.

The BFCP series bush fire plinths are easily fitted between the ventilation fan and upstand. They incorporate a unique mesh screen that can be easily removed and cleaned, ensuring optimal fan performance is maintained.
